The 820 Epoxy Laminating Systems are developed for the fabrication and repair of high performance composite structures. They consist of one resin and a selection of three separate hardeners to suit your building or repair needs. The resin and hardener combinations produce low viscosity mixtures with convenient volumetric mix ratios. In addition, the 820 Epoxy Laminating Systems are specially formulated for standard wet lay-up or resin-infusion operations requiring the highest degree of fabric wetting and air release attributes. The systems are specifically engineered to promote a high fiber-to-resin ratio and a greater interface with composite fabric(s), thereby resulting in lighter, stronger parts offering lower maintenance and long-term performance.

820 Epoxy Laminating Systems are UV stabilized, ultra low viscosity laminating system that is ideal for use in vacuum infusion processes or RTM applications. Use with Graphite, S-Glass, E-Glass or Kevlar fabrics. Produces strong, light weight composite parts. They are specially formulated for standard wet lay-up or resin-infusion operations requiring the highest degree of fabric wetting and air release attributes.

We recommend curing Adtech & our Nanotube Enhanced Resin between 85F and 160F. We have not tested above 200F and temp below 80F are not recommended due to very long cure times. The 820 and our nano resin will get thick when they get cold. If stored below 60F it may become semi-solid (this does not hurt the resin); if this occurs, put the can in front of a space heater and the resin will become thin and clear again. If you need a resin to cure below 77F, we recommend you consider West Systems below.

Carbon Nanotube Enhanced Epoxy Resin and

Available in combined or separate kits

World's Strongest Epoxy Resin
Our Carbon Nanotube Kits produce typical increase stiffness and breaking strength of 25%+

Carbon Nanotubes are 40X stronger than carbon fiber. You will very likely increase stiffness and breaking strength by well over 25% just by using this Nanotube resin!

Our carbon Nanotubes are added to the resin.

Customer comments: "results were fantastic"...."really bullet proof!"

The "kits" above come with Nanotube Resin and Hardener.

UV Stable,

Very LOW VOC,

Nanotubes withstands temp beyond 200F+

Room Temp (80F+) or Post Cure,

Nanotubes Resin + Hardener, will not affect the clear appearance of your carbon fabric in standard thin coats (not intended for thick top coats)

Works great for vacuum bagged & hand lay-up applications (Nanotubes are not intended for infusion)

- Resin is consistence of a light syrup, a bit thicker than standard Adtech or West System Resin

- hardener is thin like water

- Not intended for use with pumps

- 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener (same as below).

- Results may vary, but it is likely you will get "better" results (tests were done using multiple layers of intermediate modulus carbon fiber; even better result should be achievable with aerospace grade carbon, commercial grade carbon, Kevlar, Fiberglass, Basalt, Innegra or other composite fabrics).

We recommend mixing resin before each use (the nano tubes will settle a bit over time).

******************Below are West Systems Epoxy products**************
West System is a general purpose laminating epoxy that works well for composite laminating. West system's hardeners are thicker than Adtech's above, and are
sometimes adventagous when trying to build-up layers or top coats. West System's 207 hardener is UV stable.

Epoxy Fillers

Filler
Description

403

403 Microfibers are made of fine cotton fibers and is used as a thickening additive with resin/hardener to create a multi-purpose adhesive. Microfibers and epoxy are particularly effective in bonding wood. Epoxy thickened with microfibers provides good gap-filling qualities while retaining excellent wetting and penetration capabilities. Microfibers are used primarily in bonding and gap-filling applications. Microfibers are non-toxic, but care should be taken to avoid inhalation. Color: Off-White.

404

404 High-Density filler is a thickening additive developed for maximum physical properties in hardware bonding where high-cyclic loads are anticipated. It can also be used for filleting and gap-filling where maximum strength is necessary. May be added to the resin/hardener at a rate of 20 to 30% by weight, depending on the viscosity needed. Color: Off-White.

405

405 Filleting Blend is a strong, wood-toned filler for use in glue joints and fillets on naturally-finished wooden interiors. Mixes easily with epoxy and lets you create fillets that are smooth and require little sanding. Color is a consistent tan so it can be used to modify the shade of other West System fillers.

8oz. $15.99

406

406 Colloidal Silica is a thickening additive used to control the viscosity of epoxy and prevent epoxy runoff in vertical and overhead joints. 406 is a very strong filler that creates a smooth mixture, ideal for general bonding and filleting. It is also our most versatile filler. Often used in combination with other fillers, it can be used to improve the improve strength, abrasion resistance, and consistency of fairing compounds, resulting in a tougher, smoother surface. Color: off-white.

1.7oz. $9.99

5.5oz. $22.99

10 lbs. $219.99

407

407 Low-Density filler is a blended Microballoon-based filler used primarily to make inexpensive filling and fairing putties which are easy to sand or carve while still being a reasonably good engineering material on a strength-to-weight basis. It can also be used as a thickening additive for bonding veneers and in low-stress structural applications where light weight can be beneficial. Good feathering and won't sag. Color: Reddish-Brown.

4oz. $12.99

12oz. $33.75

14 lbs. $335.00

410

410 The ideal low-density filler for creating a light, easily worked fairing compound especially suited for fairing large areas. 410 MICROLIGHT handles well and mixes with greater ease than 407 or Microballoons, and is approximately 30% easier to sand. It is also more economical for large fairing jobs but is not recommended under dark paint or other surfaces subjected to high temperatures. Cures to a light tan color. Do not mix 410 MICROLIGHT filler with polyester or vinylester resins. Microlight will inhibit the cure of polyester or vinylester resins.

2oz. $9.92

5oz. $22.15

4 lbs. $199.99
